My closet is a little western, a little grunge, sometimes girly, and occasionally one of my brother’s old T-shirts that met me and my favorite pair of scissors.

 

Most outfits start with an idea and a whole lot of “I hope this works.”

I’m dressing for the 9-to-5, daycare pickup, cozy weekends at home playing with my little boy, girls trips, and basically any excuse I can find to get dressed up. There’s no one aesthetic happening over here, and I think that’s the fun of it.

Mix the styles. Cut up the T-shirt. Try the weird combination. Wear the damn outfit.
